One of the most outstanding Hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in Europe. Family owned with outstanding staff who went out of their way to make our stay memorable.A Comprehensive breakfast spread and the gourmet evening meal choice a delight in every way.The owner each day ensured we were fully informed as to our choice whether it be a beach or nearby town and how to get there and back.We were so well taken care of in every way.
The Hotel was fantastic, the service was very good, location and view spectacular, beautiful night views, clear water, and quite from all the hustle n bussle of the town and tourists, the roads are little tricky but glorious themselves. Special mention to the the Chef Nicola, who goes out of he's way to make sure you taste the best there is, his deserts are excellent as well as his fish dishes. Also to Francesco the owners son, helps every time you make a request and his English is definitely a bonus. Thanks for the memories and welcoming stay.
Can only connect wifi to 1 item at a time. Apart from that can't really find a fault.
The sea view is good which is the main reason we choose it.
190 euros seems to be higher than the room and facility we have.
We loved the position, the stunning view and the hotel staff. They made us feel very welcome and were always helpful. The food was great. The hotel was clean and bright. It was easy to get to other places like positano and ravello.
Only downside was there are no tea making facilities in our room and we couldn't get the spa to work.We should have asked but we didn't spend much time in our rooms to worry about it.
Staff were friendly but did not go too much out of their way to help. The hotel was not as 'fancy' as it was made out to be on he web and the food was very average. No room service or requests to the room but the room was very clean and comfortable.
This hotel is somewere near the top of my list for a visual location, I have travelled to many places and this Hotel location is breathtaking, at first you do not realise, but a whole community lives at the foot of this Hotel,(it is set on a cliff side and is entered via a lift at the roadside) with boat hire, water taxis, great restuarants (3) smimming, fishing points, day trips to Capri, Positano Amalfi and Sorrento, the hill side location is a little hard on the legs as you need to climb a few steps but don't let this put you off, you do not need a car, you have no parking spaces anyway! Buses are 1.25 euroes each in either direction, and stop at the hotel entry the only downside is that its a little on the expensive side, but if you want a degree of exclusivness, you have it.
The breakfast buffet was a little ordinary and lacked imagination and a little heavy handed, in that everything on your plate is too large or a little over cooked, the chef trys hard but he is far too heavy with sauces , chocolate, cheese tomatoes etc, in fact this is the only sad thing about the hotel, the food tends to let it down, but as there are plenty of good seafood resturants just a stones throw away, its no problem.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The view from the rooms and public areas is breathtaking. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with more than the usual choices. The jetty is very close which was convenient for catching water taxis and there is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel.
Very lovely family run hotel located right on the ocean front over looking a small fishing and set in to the rocky Amalfi coast. Room tastefully decorated. Excellent food in a great dining room overlooking the water. Friendly and helpful staff.
Best located hotel along the amalfi coast with beautiful view very comfortable room very friendly and helpful staff very good food
Everything! The staff were wonderful and so helpful with my daughters special diet needs. They made the holiday a real treat. Thank you to all! The hotel and our room was always clean and sparkling and everything well maintained. The hotel is perfectly sited, stepped down the cliff to the sea, and the swimming was divine! The decor is lovely-using the local ceramics to great effect; and the decks are perfect for viewing and sun bathing. Thanks to the desk manager who suggested we water taxi to Positano and ferry to Salerno- great way to finish the trip!! Perfecto!!
The beds and pillows are very firm- but we found this in many places, so maybe it is the way to sleep in Italy, but I found it difficult.
Beautiful location, lovely restaurant, convenient access.
I loved the calm and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is very well cared for and the location is beautiful. We had initially reserved for a two day stay but very quickly decided to stay for an extra 2 days due to how much we loved the location. All staff were very friendly and welcoming.
We had originally reserved our room for 2 days but quickly decided we wanted to stay another 2 days as we loved the hotel location so much. We had to switch rooms for our last night due to availibility and were very disappointed with the second room. I would definitley return to this hotel but would book in certian room.
Location just next to the sea, acess to a small beach, lots of cafe and restaurant close by. Very friendly staff. Buss stop next to the hotel to go to Amlafi or Positano. No need for a car. A grat great place with amazing view on the sea. Far more quiet than other places on the Coast. Really enjoyed it !
